I bought an RV-8 in 2007. The engine started as a O-360-A1F6D in a Cardinal.
The builder of the RV rebuilt the engine and converted it to fuel injection but
it is basically an O-360-A1F6D.
A year ago I removed the sump and intake tubes and installed a Superior cold air
sump - a beautiful product. I have the used sump but cannot find reference
to it in any Lycoming literature. The sump has the part number LW-13783 REV-C
on it in cast in letters. It uses the intake tubes with the big o-ring on the
sump end.
Can anyone tell me anything about this sump?
