It took only one wire for power (12v system) to hook it up and it is grounded through the case/mount. Looking at pictures of others set up with the newer (relatively speaking) ones that have a case on them I see two small wires going in? Do these with the case need an external ground wire? If the coil is mounted with adel clamps or other nonconductive means, a second ground wire is required to ground the case to the airframe. This may be what you have noticed in some photos. They both had adel clamps holding it to the engine mount.. The person who asked me will probably join this list but I didn't want to pass on bad info.
