Subject: Metal cowl

Does anyone know how the metal cowl is attached to the front of the moose , I've
seen pics of where the fire wall attaches, but never on the front of the engine
side , except where the little tab is welded on top of the engine ring. Does
the cowl just sit on the leather ring provided or is it braced somewhere up
front? does anyone have any pics they could post?
