George,
My tach is running backwards and my stall speed seems to be really slow.
I have installed some vortex generators but they seem to be hooked up to
my tach and when I go real fast they go crazy and mix up all the air and
when I slow down and my tach goes slow they just leave the air alone.
Any ideas?

Yeah, You swapped two wires when you made the repair. It is a 3
phase
sending unit and 3 phase receiver. Swapping any two wires will
cause the
phase rotation to go in the opposite direction.

Team,
I've got about 600 hours on my Yak 52 so, like most of you, I've
had wacky
readings on the RPM gauge before and found a broken wire in the
cannon plug
at the tach sensor. Nothing new here. Except this time I
repaired the broken
wire and the gauge now runs backwards. I've never seen that
before, but I
know others say it is characteristic of a broken wire as well,
so I pulled
the plug off again and did a continuity check to the rear RPM
gauge.
Everything checks out. Good continuity, no dry solder joints,
but the RPM
gauge continues to run backwards. Anybody got an idea what I'm
missing?

Hey guys,
Sorry if I pissed anyone off.- I have it figured out now.- The tack poi

the gps says 130 kts.- The mirrors work and landing is challenging but N
