I have installed some vortex generators but they seem to be hooked up to my tach and when I go real fast they go crazy and mix up all the air and when I slow down and my tach goes slow they just leave the air alone. Nothing new here. Except this time I repaired the broken wire and the gauge now runs backwards. I've never seen that before, but I know others say it is characteristic of a broken wire as well, so I pulled the plug off again and did a continuity check to the rear RPM gauge. Everything checks out. Good continuity, no dry solder joints, but the RPM gauge continues to run backwards.
