I started opening the boxes of spark plugs that came with my M-14P motor. It appears as if one box contains plugs ending in "91" and another has plugs that end in "92". EG "49CMM 91" or "49CMM 92". Does anyone know what the 91/92 mean? Thanks, KG Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=275640#275640

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that. Why not make the change now to the automotive conversion kit and you'll never have to deal with finding Russian plugs again the problems inherent with the Russian wiring harnesses. One Russian plug will cost you about the same as a complete set of the automotive plugs included in my kit. http://www.yak-52.com/plug_conversion.htm Contact me off-list if you would like to talk about it. I'm also available by telephone and on central time 334-285-2141. Hello to all question : Is it possible to change a motor with about 300 hours running only with mineral oil and change to a dispersant oil like the aeroshell w100. Is it possible? Anyone who has experienced this. If yes what kind of operation should be done to do so? Cleaning the oil filter every 10hours??? Thanks for every bit of experiance you would share Kind regards Didier -------- Didier Tiger YAK18T Member of Commemorative Air Force French Wing Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=275643#275643

Why not consider changing over to the Philips radial engine oil, 25W-60, which is a mineral based oil that can be used during break in and for the life of the engine. Sorry, Dennis. He asked a question and you link to a site of selling a strange wiring system. I would never use it on a plane, maybe on a car [Laughing] . KG, I also don`t know what 91/92 means. But you can measure the resistance of the spark plugs. These plugs have integrated resistors. Maybe there are 2 kinds of plugs... The problem with automotive oil is that it does not have any additives to deal with the Lead-Bromide byproduct of combustion. This winds up in your oil. Lead-Bromide is both Corrosive and abrasive. Nothing "strange" about the wiring system: it is a MUCH better way of running the M14P. All those who have tested it, can confirm this. How is the small car with the M14P doing ? Mark, Uwe is the guy who has am M14P running on a VERY small car. But it is on 4 wheels, so since it does not fly (yet ?) some aviation concerns don't bother him. The car is a very small thing, built in the 1950's in Germany, so small that the owner did not need a driver's license. This made it very popular in Germany after WWII (when many ex-soldiers could not get a driver's license). It certainly is impressive seeing this big radial taking almost all the room inside this small car. The exhausts are in the middle, of the car...And when it starts ... Uwe, can't you post a few pictures? It's not easy for non-German speeking people to find them on your website. Hi. Of course, I can test out some new ways to operate the engine, because in case of failure it just stop on the side of the road. I made some movies and put them up to youtube.com My youtube chanal there is "dwerke". Just type for dwerke and you will find more movies in original quality. Next year (2010) we will test this car more and more under higher power. Actually this year it was the problem that the gasoline supply by electric pump was too less. I will also try to pass it street legal. After this is done, the project is complete and I can start another project.
