Subject: | A few start up problems with my M-14 |
Hi George
I started the engine today , It started fine, (I took Marks advice on start up).
After I got it running I shut off the primer and the boost pump and she ran
a little better .But the engine sounds like it has a loud heavy Knock in it. After
shut down , gas was pouring out the carb for about 5 minutes, and when I
went to leave, I opened the manifold drain cock and about a half liter of gas
poured out, The inside of the exhaust and the bottom of the plane is black and
wet from being real rich I guess, can adjusting the carb fix this? or is something
else I should try???
Henry
