Subject: OIL PRESSURE GAUGE FAULTY READING

On an AI-14RA engine, oil pressure gauge showing intermittent reading. Showing
correct and then no reading. Now and then shows correct reading again.
Have connected another gauge and same problem, have tested wire connection between
gauge and transmitter/sender unit, also good. Could plugs be faulty or sender
unit.
What other test should I do.
Sounds to me like a bad connection but where?
Can you assist?
