One was installed when I acquired my Yak. =C2-I=99ll check this weekend to see where the tap off is. I=99m sure your Yak has a ground air-charge fitting just behind the trailing edge of the left wing root. I think the tap off is within the fuselage on that line but will verify for you. I have had to re place the 1,000 psi gauge required several times. So if you are going to fi t one, get a few spares and if you have a system air leak check there first . =C2-Royden =C2-From: owner-m14pengines-list-server@matronics.com [ma ilto:owner-m14pengines-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of John B Sent: Sunday, January 17, 2016 9:22 AM Subject: Re: M14PEngines-List: Cooling shroud for air compressor? =C2-Roy den-The airplane already has one of these installed.=C2- So, I don't have an air pressure indicator.=C2- How does one install one?John B =C2-On Sun, Jan 17, 2016 at 9:13 AM, Heaysr <heaysr@telus.net> wrote: An alternative to cooling is to stop it getting hot in the first place. Hello Dennis. Yes, the Yak 55 has a pressure relief valve that cycles all the time when n o unloader is fitted. The cylinder bore and piston diameter is slightly smal ler than the valve on the Yak 52, I believe.
