I have tried to order one from Murphy Aircraft back in March. I was told by Jeff in shipping that it would be ready in 8 weeks. Since then, Jeff is no longer working there and I have not had any response to my e-mails requesting an update on my order or for a phone number to talk to a live person to get the ball rolling again. Any advise would be well appreciated. (meese?) And they were metal. And that made me create a mental note to contact him again when it came time for me to work on the cowl/engine section. That was a couple years ago, but may it still be worth a try. I know Dan Horton down in Alabama was spinning cowls a couple of years ago. I don't know if he is on the list and to respect his privacy, if you email me at dstroud@xplornet.com I'd be happy to email you his email address. He's a pretty straight shooter and might be able to fix you up if no one else can. Seems anything metal would be at least 3000 dollars and it would have to be molded to fit.. Thanks just the same for your input.
