I'm planning on changing mine over but i'm a new taildragger pilot. Any comparisons to other planes? What prop are you using? I had a Prince 68" x 64" 2-blade and switched to a Warp 72" 3-blade. I've run it between 12 degrees and 16 degrees and find it a bit smoother but the Prince had better overall performance. The Stratus redlines at 5400 rpm and 13-14 degrees on the Warp seemed to get the most out of it. Anybody else new here? How many people here building or flying a Pelican? Mike, are you still on the list? John sent me pictures, it looks great. I hope he gets the rest together ok, I can't wait to hear some performance numbers. You mentioned that you may be using a new gear drive - anything new there? The new radiator looks great, should be perfect for EA-81's.
