Your Pelican looks very close to flying. What is the right air intake going to? It looks like engine block cooling? Is that recommended from the factory? Good idea, I know the turbo gets a lot hotter. Very nice work - you have a good factory representation. Goo dluck. Yes, the right cooling intake on the front of the cowling is directed to engine block and cylinders and it is part of the new Pelican kit, I guess it comes with the Rotax 914 turbo engine kit from Pelican but we have to ask Lorraine about it, by the way sorry that I did not include picture explanations in english ! I guess I will have to do that in the near future. We are trying to finish the plane in March so we can fly it from spring time, where are you located at ? Cheers ! Rolando. ________________________________ Message 5 _____________________________________ Time: 01:25:53 PM PST US From: Ramperf@aol.com Subject: Re: Pelican-List: Re: just joined --> Pelican-List message posted by: Ramperf@aol.com Gary I'm working on a planetary dirve, have the drive working on the mounting couplers and flywheel. This drive is good to 300hp so we will be installing it mainly on our new supercharged version ea81 comming out this year. I talked to John on friday and he's waiting on a prop adapter from Autoflight, should be a good ride! Ron
