The mains are quite a bit taller - not sure if they are 6 ply. Heavier, yes. That also contributed to my plump Pelican. Another reason for me to go taildragger - less weight and less drag. Ultravia recommends 5" wheels so even yours are bigger and heavier than factory. gary ----- Original Message ----- From: "Terry's Autobody" Subject: Pelican-List: tire size > --> Pelican-List message posted by: "Terry's Autobody" > > > gary you mentioned you have larger tires on your pelican. i was wondering > what size they > were , i looked at your pictures but it is tough to tell the tire size. i > have very small > tires (15x6.00-6)and went to larger ones but haven,t installed them yet > the ones i might > put on are the same as the cessna 150 tire size 6.00x6,these tires are 3 > inches taller > and because there 6 ply quite a bit heavier terry > > Pelican-List Digest Server wrote: > >> * >> >> ================================================== >> Online Versions of Today's List Digest Archive >> ================================================== >> >> Today's complete Pelican-List Digest can also be found in either of the >> two Web Links listed below.
