Terry;
Interesting problem. I had the reverse, lots of interference on my a4, then when
I installed my a200 all problems went away.
One thing though, I could hear the interference on the A4 but the receivers of
my broadcast reported 5/5 with no interference.
Is your radio shielded ok?
Are there any gaps in the coax to the antenna?
How did you ground the antenna? For my a200 I have one of those dipole antennas
mounted inside the fuselage so it doesn't require grounding. For my transponder
I ran a dedicated ground wire from the antenna ground plane to the engine
to ensure that it was properly grounded.
Do you have noise suppression/shielding in the ignition system?
