I came across an informative article by Ron Alexander regarding wood for aircraft construction. http://www.sportair.com/articles/Aircraft%20Wood%20-%20Part%20One.html I noticed the article mentioned that the Pietenpol used Western Hemlock for the spars. I did not see anyone mention that. Is anyone using Western Hemlock? Caroll in MN. Do not archive. ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 10:21:41 AM PST US From: Subject: Re: Pietenpol-List: capstrip and Gusset plates --> Pietenpol-List message posted by: Caroll, Where in MN are you located?
