(why I do not know) At work it is set to the proper "Windows " format. Thats why sometimes my messages would come though and sometimes not. I send about 50% of my messages from work and the rest from home. Everything should come through fine now as I have my home computer set to send in Windows format. A couple of weeks ago we were checking a project near here (5 pilot/builders here are like Club "Inspectors" prior to Gob. inspection for projects of club members and friends). The project had the rudder cables with slack and the Nicos were not "pretty" done but well swaged. One of my friends looked at one cable and comment to me: "looks like the Spruce cables" and smiled... The builder put a panic face ,but we just laughed, he remembered my comments at that time from your posts. We helped the guy with the Nicos and some other minor detailes, is always a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Saludos Gary Gower. Do not archive. I'm selling this for a friend who just got a new job in another city and can't take it with him...since it has a pretty low reserve, it will make a really nice, low cost head start on an Air Camper for someone (I wish it had been available when I started!). The workmanship is beautiful. Included is the fuse, all ribs, complete tail section ready to cover (with all tail metal parts, including hinges & horns) and a big stack of spruce. The only additional wood to purchase would be the spars. The eBay item number is: 2469389291 For a few extra dollars I could include the metal tail parts (horns/hinges/etc) in my next sandblasting/powdercoating run. Also included, if interested, is a rib jig and fiberglass center section tank (the tank is in a plastic bag and looks ok but probably needs some patching here and there....) I can take pictures with more detail (than shown on eBay) for anyone interested in buying the project. The new magazine, which present subscribers to "Experimenter" will receive automatically until their subscription runs out, is called "Sport Pilot." Actually, it's full title is "Sport Pilot and Light-Sport Aircraft." "Experimenter" was started years ago to provide information to "experimenters" who wanted articles and photos of what other folks were doing. It was all about homebuilts, with rebuilds of certificated aircraft (Cubs, Aeroncas, Cessnas, etc.) by people who work with their hands. It was felt that sometimes EAA's "Sport Aviation" had too much other stuff to cover and the homebuilder did not get his share of publication. Mary Jones at EAA has been "Experimenter" editor for a good number of years. She is now the editor of the new "Sport Pilot."; As an unofficial observer, I would like to get any feedback from people on the Piet line on how this substitution of magazines is working. I'll pass the feedback along to EAA folks. I figure it may be easier and less formal to just drop me a line, (not on Matronics line for everyone, but off-line to me) rather than try to compose a reprintable letter to the magazine editors. It is hoped, of course, that the new "Sport Pilot" will be even better for us than "Experimenter" was. Your new April "Sport Pilot" should be in the mail in a few days. Let me know how you Pieters feel. Doc Mosher Oshkosh USA do not archive
