There are a lot of art tools in that program that many folks never use. I imported a 3-view drawing of a model A piet as a bitmap and then traced over the top of it. Then I deleted the original bitmap and cleaned up my drawing. Terry -- Terry L. After everyone's response it appears that the best way to do it is what pleases me the most. My plan now is to try and space the stringers equally around the coming support as I can, realizing that the closer the stringers get to the top longerons the more curve they will have. On an additional note. I plan on going to Brodhead again this year. Weather permitting I will be flying my TriPacer in from NW Indiana Friday afternoon. I will be looking forward to seeing everyone again. It's always very difficult to envision the final image and sometimes when pulling masking tape off I thought "what in the world was I thinking!" I recently commissioned DJ Vegh to layout an AirCamper design for me by telling him I wanted it based on a Texas flag. His sketch was great and probably saved me money in the long run in the amount of masking tape and paint I could have wasted in getting the look I wanted. His service is highly recommended and I was happy to part company with my hard earned cash for his talent. ________________________________ Message 9 _____________________________________ Time: 05:04:36 PM PST US From: "Laurits Larsen" Subject: Re: Pietenpol-List: New student --> Pietenpol-List message posted by: "Laurits Larsen" Hi: You have the info list to proceed with your project. Note that the catalogs have tables of very useful data in the back. To go with that data, I suggest that you invest in some "tools of precision", i.e. a micrometer, an inside/outside caliper and a steel scale with readings to at least a 32nd. These are valuable in setting up your tools and checking sizes, gauges and thickness. Also the Poly Fiber manual on covering and painting is very good. Good Luck!!!!
