I've decided to try it. I am installing a set of full lotus 1260 on my A65 powered Piet. The first flight test should be within 2 weeks. Pictures and rigging data will be forwarded. I was going to start at placing the float step 6" behind the CG location of 19" from the wing leading edge. (or float Cg at 13"" from leading edge) This location should give me the 19" CG location at the way the aircraft will fly most of the time. And I will initially experiment with -3deg of float down incidence. I hope it gets off and actually climbs! I'll be using a very large lake for the tests so plenty of room to experiment. Any further tips or ideas are welcome.
