As Mike C. says "Even the birds were walking". There has been several tornado's touch down, but no damage...that's why they call this area of the country 'Tornado Alley'. They show up every spring and fall. I'm still looking forward to seeing one. I have seen lots of storms in the distance, though. One time it looked like a solid wall about a mile high, and ten miles long...awesome sight !! There has been some local flash floods. When the good weather shows up it makes up for the harsh stuff. Many times it's Severe Clear, with about a million miles visibility !! C'mon good weather !!
