Well, I added myself to the TACO frappr site, but I sure don't understand
how there can be members from east of the Mississippi! Yankees typically
don't know an enchilada from a fajita ;o) I'm sure exceptions can be made
for somebody living in a place with a name like Corona (CA) though...
Note to Gary Gower- most of my family is in Laredo, so if you need a place
to store building materials until you can pick them up there, let me know
and maybe I can help.

Although I live in North Carolina, I grew up in Tennessee (where most of
the early Texans came from - Davy Crockett was the congressman from my
home district before he went to die at the Alamo), and lived in Texas
for 10 years. Since living in Texas, I became addicted to Mexican food
and require it at least once a week. I think that should qualify me,
and Sterling Brooks (the Honcho Taco) agrees and I have the T-Shirt to
prove it. Never did get my ID badge, though.

Harvey,
Being from north of the border, I had difficulty as well.
Where they ask for your zipcode, you have to click "Not in the US", then
type in your City, Province (Country).
When I did this, with Richmond Hill (population about 150,000) as the
city, it came back with "City not found".
So I tried again, using Vaughan (population about 200,000) (which is
very nearby, and is shown on the big map), and got the same reply.
Then I tried again, using Toronto (population 3,000,000 plus) for the
city, and it worked.
It seems that it will only accept certain cities outside of the USA.
It's strange, because it uses google maps, which has no problem finding
Richmond Hill. In fact, when I enter my address, the location it
pinpoints is only off by about three houses.
So, you may find that you have to enter something like Ottawa for your
city in order to get accepted.
Good Luck.
Bill

Heck, on my last trip to Canada, I saw Elvis, Davy Crockett, Bruce Lee and
Betty Crocker playing poker with Dudley Dooright.
Any Canadian can sign up for a TACO membership because we have ahigh regard
down here for the Royal Canadian Mounties. I guess the RCM are like the
Texas Rangers, except they can handle cold weather a lot better than our
Rangers can.
