Duewe, did you ever order the radiator? If so, and you have room in the
camper would you bring it if its not too much trouble. I'd like to see
it. Leon S. In Brodhead Thur. pm.

OK, now that I've seen it, I finally understand why it's called a
"Johnson" airspeed indicator.

I'll be there.
I'm lucky enough to fly down from Madison (38 mi.) with Bill Rewey in
his Pietenpol. The "Navy paint job".
His Piet, now 12 yrs. old has flown the equivalent of 1 1/4 times around
the world.
Look for me with the white shirt that says on the back, "The Older I get
The better I used to Fly" or another white shirt with the Pietenpol
Plans on the back.
NX88XN reserved.
Corvair powered, about 30% finished with my goal to fly it to Brodhead
in 2008.
Roman Bukolt, Madison, Wi.
38 mi. north of Brodhead, 83 mi. SW of Oshkosh, building a Piet with
Bill Rewey as my mentor AND building my son's RV 10. Talk about extreme
contrasts in airplane or what.
See! Ya don't have ta die first to be in Paradise.
I'm there already, and when I'm not building, I'm flyin' my Cessna 150.
and life is great!

I have been talking to Forrest Lovely about making a run of radiators.
He needs one or two more orders to make a run of them. They are the
beautiful brass ones. Anyone else want to commit to getting one made by
him??

I'll be leaving Wednesday or Thursday, probably get there Thursday or Friday.
Route will be either the North side of Kansas City, or the South
side...hafta wait to see which way the wind is blowing. I still don't know what
my
Absolute Ceiling is, so on one of the legs I'm going to bundle up, and climb as
high as the cold will let me...but not too close to the sun !!

Hi guys,
I called Forrest about 6 weeks ago and ordered one too. He said mine was
the third one and he needed a total of four to be able to start on them in the
fall. Anybody else interested?
