The big story for the weekend was Sat was gusty up to 20+. A float plane tried to land on a lake close by. They caught a wave in a bad way and it ripped the floats off the plane. The 2 women riding in the rear seats were ejected into the water. The pilot was able to keep the plane flying and he and his front seat passenger made a emergency landing at a nearby airport on the belly. A fisherman was close by the women in the water and picked them up one had a broken leg. All in all a pretty happy ending. Dick N. ----- Original Message ----- From: Cuy, Michael D. There was a great-sounding bratwurst fly-in over in western Ohio Sunday after church but there was no way I was going to try that one. Did see and RV and yellow biplane fly over though so not everyone was on the ground. Anybody know whose it might be and where they fly out of? Just trying to find out what other TACOs might be out there.
