Man that is a real work of art! ________________________________ From: owner-pietenpol-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-pietenpol-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Dick Navratil Sent: September 22, 2007 10:43 PM Subject: Pietenpol-List: first flight Hey all I finally got to fly the new Piet today. That radial engine really has some kick. The tail comes up quickly and it is very smooth in flight. A special thanks to all who helped in the building process, especially the crew at Sun n Fun where the components were build, Skip, P.F. and all the others. Dick N.

Attaboy, Dick! I'm sure everything went smoothly, and the plane flies as well as it looks. Looking forward to seeing it flying at Brodhead. Hi everyone. I just found out today that i need a crank for our Champ (A-65). Would anybody on the list happen to have or know someone with a good one with a yellow tag? When we overhauled it a while back it was just barely within limits. Not any more. Steve Singleton

The list is to quiet lately. Are all of you busy laying in your supplies for the winter or something? Seeing as we don't have winter in California, I have been working really hard on the landing gear and can see the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak. Just need to finish the brake installation and anchoring the axel. Not as good as Dick flying the new plane but ya take what you can get.
