      Hey Gary,

I actually have been baking down around 220 or so and it's been working
      fine.

Howdy, low 'n' slow fliers; today's mail brought the latest issue of Doc and Dee
Mosher's "BPA Newsletter", and it's another good one. Always nice to receive
it, read it, look at the pictures, and enjoy Piets new and old. This issue
has a striking wedding photo of Bernard Pietenpol and his then-new wife, and
what a handsome couple they made. So unlike today's splash-and-dash "marriages",
      eh?

I have emailed Doc about a classified ad that he placed in the back of this issue,
offering a 90% complete Air Camper less engine. He doesn't usually do too
much emailing so I thought I'd ask if anybody on the list knows anything about
this project. I assume that it's his own, since his name and phone number are
given, but I'd appreciate any info on it. See, I just got my newly overhauled
A75 engine and that means I now have two engines and one Piet ;o)

PS, in between the afternoon's galloping summer thunder squalls, I took 41CC up
for a recon mission and some landing practice. Airplane and pilot both completed
the mission well and dutifully, and all onlookers were pleased to see the
airplane out defending the northwest corners of Bexar County, Texas. Two interlopers
were spotted... a Diamond DA-20 and a V-tailed Bonanza, but both left
the area hastily after they saw 41CC's colors ;o)
