I sent this yesterday but don't see it in my "sent" folder...I apologize if it's
a duplicate....
I found some 3/8" but it's .035 wall thickness.
I think you wanted something thicker. If this will do the job, let me know and
it's yours.

No, you all get to enjoy the 30 days (29 now) that Gary has won for you. I
mean, this is going to be pretty hard on me. Perhaps I should have just
taken the tubing that Dan Helsper offered and been free to lambast the
Corvairs. Of course, all the things I would have said during that 30 day
period will just build into a backlog that will come out once the 30 days is
up. Now is the time (during this time of enforced good will) for any of you
with flying Corvairs that have found, ah, "inconsistencies" with your
powerplants that you were afraid to make public, to come forward and confess
with no worry of condemnation. Of course, I have no control over John

Vic,
That truly was an inspired attempt to quell the dissidents. Unfortunately,
as Jack pointed out, forces of immeasurable strength are gathering against
us. Right now, thanks to John Hofmann, tens of thousands of uninformed
individuals in the mid-west are right now sporting shirts and sweatshirts
and caps with the attached.

I've been working on my wing.. leading and trailing edges..
I kept thinking the idea of 8-32 screws holding on the leading edge sounded kinda
silly..
after roughly shaping it and clamping it in place a few times, it hit me..
i would need at least 28 clamps to hold that thing in place... or DUH..
do it like bernard did..
so i clamped it.. drilled it glued it then screwed it on.. the screws pull it down
tight and keep it in from sliding out of place all at the same time..
looks like a wing

Hi Kevin, sorry to hear about your compression problem. I hope it was not
related to cooling. Why are you going the 5th bearing route? You are not
cranking that plane around like your copter are you. I might do the same if I
don't have to completely rebuild the cowling. Looking forward to Brodhead.

Heck, Jack, I love it when you bang on the corvair. It's funny! I'll send you

Hoffman!
Gary - if you have not finished your ribs please do so now.

While we=92re asking each other for short lengths of tubing (or rod=2C in s

I=92m making a heated pitot tube for the RV-10 I=92m building. Since I lea

I blew all the mud dauber nests out of it. But I need to make a mount to e

order is 1 foot=2C for a price of $23.00. If anybody has such a piece of
tubing lying around=2C I=92ll happily pay $10 for it.
I didn=92t even bother posting this request on the RV-10 list. They=92d ne
