From: "tools" Ok, I'm sure it's in there somewhere, but I can't locate the CG range on the plans. I found the drawing that has "all the balance" info and it mentions (as do a couple posts I've searched here) the aft position is 20" from the leading edge. So.... what's the forward limit? Doing calculations to see if I (180 lbs) can jump in the front, and my son (130 lbs) can jump in the back. From: "tools" Cool, thanks! Off to find a set of scales tomorrow. Scott and I went up again this evening and over to a nearby private grass strip. We rigged him up a throttle in the front and he did five take offs and five landings with no help from me at all. On the last three, I didn't even talk. Of course, super calm and cool and we haven't done any emergency stuff, cross winds, etc. but he also has NO instruments in the front. About the only talking I'm doing anyway from the turn to final onwards is to call airspeeds for him. He's catching on quick and we're having a blast!
