I am glad I built the windshields to come up about even with my forehead. It keeps the wind off my face mostly, and I've been pleased with the fact that I don't get a lot of air coming down the front 'pit around my feet. Main thing seems to be to get a good windproof jacket, with a storm flap over the zipper so you don't get cold air leaking through. In Tennessee we pronounced it as croppies. Here in North Carolina they say crappy. I always thought crappy fishing was where you didn't catch anything Now get back to rebuilding your Pietenpol, and for heaven's sake . I was fishing this afternoon (too warm for deer hunting). Caught 70+ fish, including 32 largemouth bass (which we couldn't keep due to club rules in the lake where we were fishing). Here's a selection of the ones we did keep: I love retirement! Heading to Smith Mountain Lake this weekend and hope to have weather warm enough to ENJOY flying the Pietenpol.
