I agree with the idea of having all of your instrument panel mountings on h and prior to making holes in it. Also keep in mind,-you may want to inclu de ignit./mag switch, various toggle and/or rocker switches, levers, knobs etc. for various components depending on your set up. - I found that the simple hole saws with a scrap piece of wood as a backer fo r drilling was easiest.
