There has been confusion about this reg over the years so I guess I will just keep the stupid sticker on it. I put it of the cover of the rear instrument panel. ....don't look too bad. do not archive -------- Jerry Dotson 59 Daniel Johnson Rd Baker, FL 32531 First flight June 16,2012 Started building July, 2009 21" wheels Lycoming O-235 C2C Jay Anderson CloudCars prop 76 X 44 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=378265#378265 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 07:26:05 AM PST US From: "Dortch, Steven D MAJ NG NG NGB" Subject: Re: Pietenpol-List: Safetying Worm Drive Hose Clamps I see you are using New Old Stock. ;+} ----- Original Message ----- From: Matthew Subject: Re: Pietenpol-List: Safetying Worm Drive Hose Clamps > Here is how I do it, I just did this right quick so it's not the > prettiest, but gets the point across > > > > > > > > Sent from my iPhone > > On Jul 13, 2012, at 4:31 PM, gboothe5@comcast.net wrote: > > > > > No rush, Matthew, but I think I would like to see that picture. > > > > Thanks, > > Gary > > Do not archive > > ------Original Message------ > > From: Matthew > > Sender: owner-pietenpol-list-server@matronics.com > > To: pietenpol-list@matronics.com > > ReplyTo: pietenpol-list@matronics.com > > Subject: Re: Pietenpol-List: Safetying Worm Drive Hose Clamps > > Sent: Jul 13, 2012 1:10 PM > > > > > > Throu the slot and around the body, going under the exposed part of the screw. > > > > Does that make sense? From: "taildrags" Wow, Vic and Mike- that is a beautiful airplane! Well done! It looks like you'll have no problem 3-pointing it in full stall with it sitting up on the tall spoked wheels like that. And a very handsome and classic paint scheme. I just see a few problems with it. For one, I've never seen one built with a 2-piece wing like that, with the starboard wing longer than the port one. And don't forget to install the gap cover where the wings join. Another thing, the propeller is installed backwards and may try to unscrew itself from the airplane if you start up the engine with it turning backwards. Everyone knows that real airplane engines turn clockwise when viewed from the cockpit. Just a caution for you on that little faux pas.
