Not my own personal story but I sure wish I had thought of it.

Most people today think it improper to discipline children, so I have tr
ied other methods to control my kids when they have had one of 'those mo
ments.'
Since I'm a pilot, one method that I have found very effective is for me
to just take the child for a short flight during which I say nothing an
d give the child the opportunity to reflect on his or her behavior.
I don't know whether it's the steady vibration from the engines, or just
the time away from any distractions such as TV, video games, computer,
iPod, etc.
Either way, my kids usually calm down and stop misbehaving after our fli
ght together. I believe that eye to eye contact during these sessions is
an important element in achieving the desired results.
I've included a photo below of one of my sessions with my son, in case y
ou would like to use the technique...

Two years ago I made a hard landing with my Greaga GN1 Aircamper. Hard enough to
crack both lower longerons. After mulling it over I decided not to try a repair, but
to deregester and
dismantle the fuselage. Funny how much faster it is to cut it up than it was to
build it. Sooo,
I now have all the metal parts for a Grega forsale. Landing gear, wing and gear
fittings,,fiberglass fuel tank, all that sort of thing. I think $300 for everything
would be a fair price. Thanks, John.

So i still haven't flown yet... a week in jamaica right after i got my certificate
.. then playing catch up at work..Off to wichita for a week of training tomorrow..
but today was fun..
I had a 30 folks from the local model A club all meet for breakfast at Bob Evans..
then over to the hangar to see the Piet.
These guys had way more questions than the DAR...loads of fun sharing some of the
history. Most of them remember the AA truck i drive from the 70's when my neighbor
used to own it, and all thought it was cool that the engine from that
truck would be flying soon.
They couldn't believe how quite it was..
fun morning..
Flying soon..

Would GN1 landing gear fit on a 'real' Pietenpol aircamper?
