That intel is correct about the 4" smooth tire. Coker made a run of them
for. They've buried them in their website with the disclaimer that goes
something like "for aviation display purposes only". They are 26X4 I
believe which was the common Jenny size. Problem was, when I looked into
them, they didn't offer a rim that fit it. Maybe that's changed, but it
WOULD all add up to be ridiculously pricey. The blue "626" that used to be
at Rhinebeck had Jenny tires.

Mario: you are in luck! I have the wings off of my airplane and it will be fairly
easy to weigh them. The right and left wings are almost identical except
one has the tubing for the pitot tube (airspeed indicator) inside it. They are
covered and painted and have all metal fittings attached and aileron cables
installed.
The only way that I can weigh them is with bathroom scales. I have two digital
bathroom scales in the hangar so they will not be exact, but I may try to check
them with something of a known weight (like a concrete test cylinder), then
I will weigh them and post the results here. I probably will not have a chance
to do it until Saturday.
