I'm guessing the paint will add about 3 to 5 lbs max. Cheers! If so, what is it made of? It won't be too long before I'll be ready to cover and paint and can't decide on a center section tank or one in the front seat compartment. It is aluminum. Mtn Piet also has a cowl tank that holds 11.5 gallons. The wing tank was originally plumbed for manual fuel transfer in-flight. At this point, I'm leaning towards leaving out the wing tank in order to have the extra cargo space. I can always add the wing tank if I feel the need for the extra fuel.
