Hello all,
I know this maybe a long shot, but I have not seen one up close.
I would love to go for a ride in one, before I commit to spending years of time
and money building. I live in Central PA, but I am willing to travel a good distance
to get a ride, and I would be more than willing to compensate you for
your time and fuel.
I am pretty confident this it the plane I would enjoy for the type of flying I
would like to do, but I want to make sure.
I don't think I can make it Broadhead, but if you know of another Pietenpol gathering
closer to PA, I would info on that also.

I'll be there but will be bailing out on the barnstorming thing after the gathering.
Stuff came up at work. Maybe next year. Looking forward to it.

Is that the college which will be held at Barnwell South Carolina or the one
in northern Florida? If it is the one at Barnwell write to
barnwellairport@bellsouth.net. You would probably talk to P. F. Beck , the

Is anybody on the list looking for a decent Piet to buy? I found one
on Barnstormers, There wernt any pictures with the listing. It is out
in Montana west of Billings at Columbus. I have been told the price is

For the past two years they have had the Corvair College at the Barnwell SC airport
on the Veteran's Day weekend (and the Marine Corps Birthday, but I digress!).
If that were to hold true this year that would make it the weekend of 8-10
November 2013. But P.F. Beck and/or William Wynne would have to confirm that.

When I first quizzed the list as to interested builders in acquiring sets
of completed wingribs my printer was down and I failed to record those
interested replies. So, would those still interested please contact me
personally to work out the shipping and/or pickup details. I've only yesterday
prepared to begin assembly. I bought enough materials, douglas fir and plywood,
to build about four sets. That will be the finis.
