I am going to put in a step that will involve my gluing in some wood pieces. T-88 is the preferred glue for structural items. is there any other glue that would be preferred for nonstructural work? Where I am going to have to put these wood blocks is somewhat complex. How perfect does the piece of wood have to be. It is going to be where I stepdown on the step. The block will push down on the frame in a couple of areas. Couple of questions: What diameter of tube did you use? What kind of tube? Is it tube or "Pipe"? Where did you buy it. Yours appears to go all the way acrossI would like to make it only go about 5/8ths of the way across. There it will tie into the seat frame. I believe it will be strong enough, what do you think? Will spend tomorrow getting it mounted on the vertical fin. It's a little piece of mind knowing that I have increased my visibility to other pilots - things sometimes gets a little crowded flying in this area. Well that, and I just like shinny things that light up and blink. Someone did say that lights on a Piet is silly .... Call me silly ... I like'm!
