I have ordered a prop for my lowly corvair from the good folks at Cloudcars it will be in the rough out of the carving machine. and though I don't currently own a scraping tool like the one in the video I certainly need to locate one and learn to use it. I'm sure between it and plenty of sandpaper I can get it smoothed up. and sounds like a good thing to sit in the kitchen and do when it's cold and miserable out in the shop.my 66X29 gets me off the runway in good shape but as soon as I level off I'm pretty well maxed out. anxious to see what a few more inches pitch and a couple more in diameter might do for me. I'm just going with a straight one- I'll leave the fancy curved ones to the real Piet drivers. One study found that the Newer helmets were only marginally more protective than the old hard leather helmets like these. Of course the soft ones will keep you from scratching your scalp, but that is about all. My 13YO boy got a concussion playing football. We pulled him for about 10days and the docs said all was OK, go back to practice. Then he started getting cluster migraine headaches Now we have him pulled from school, only watching limited tv and no computer games (that is killing him). They did an MRI this AM to check for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and we will have the reading this coming week. We are considering not having him play football next year. He is a great athlete. He is in all advanced placement classes as school and is not challenged there. He wants to play college ball and be an engineer. OK so he has no sense of humor, he will be a great engineer. TBI is no joke. If in doubt, go see the doctor and don't rush recovery. Blue Skies, Steve D On Fri, Dec 6, 2013 at 8:05 AM, Douwe Blumberg wrote: > I have some of these from a job I was doing.
