Depending on what side I had in the"jig" at the time, the number and placement of the gussets varied. Attached is a picture of the right side, as the few gussets attached would be on the inside. As already mentioned, leave the large side panel plywood sides off as long as you can stand it. I added mine right before starting fabric. If God is your co-pilot...switch seats. Nails are only required to hold the plywood in place while the adhesive cures - they are not intended to carry any load. Just ensure that the glue joints are properly "wetted". This method allows the builder to install the gussets on either side of the fuselage structure while still in the jig. Just something to keep in mind for anyone that hasn't built their fuselage sides yet. Bill C.
