Jerry is absolutely correct. Easy Piesy, The only thing I can add to his comment
is to make sure you put the push rod back in the same location you removed it
from. Nothing to it.

Just started working on my Christmas present; a Dumas Models 36" Pietenpol kit.
One of the first things I noticed was that the rudder L.E. is a scale 3/4" longer
than the fin/fuselage rear post. That's a REAL Pietenpol Air Camper!!! Love
it.

I've examined the photos of Niner-Niner-Lima-Whiskey and it does not appear that
the rudder LE is taller than anything ahead of it. Can you clarify?
