      Oscar, looking at the helmet, do you think you could put a headset in
      them?  I like the idea of  classic looking with head protection better than
      a leather. Hat.

      Steve: as mentioned in the caption, the flight deck crewman's helmet uses a standard
      DC hearing protector, so my guess is that a standard headset (either DC
      or knockoff like mine, which is Pacific Coast Avionics lowball unit) could be
      fitted to it.  I think I may have tried it at some point in the past.  I like
      the bump protection that the helmet provides, and it's not as hot and restrictive
      as a full helmet.
