Chuck; the reason I didn't post anything in response to Douwe's inquiry about an
intercom is because mine is the same as the one Marcus posted about... the Flightcom
IIXs, two-place. I believe it's expandable to a 4-place if you can find
room for a couple of more people in your Air Camper ;o)
The only thing I don't like about this Flightcom is the fact that if you leave
the 9v battery in it, you'll find it dead next time you get ready to use it.
Makes no sense from an electrical standpoint since the switch takes it out of
the circuit, but it eats batteries like they were potato chips. In its defense,
it does have a jack for external 12-14vdc input so if you have a battery for
starter or anything else, you can dispense with the 9v batteries and be just
fine.
