Hello crew. It appears that I will be able to attend Air Venture this year which will be my first time! (Actually, the first time I have set foot in t he state.)=C2- NASA's out reach team will be there and I will be assistin g in those efforts. I am quite excited to say the least. Although I will be in attendance in an official capacity, I am sure I will have time to take in some of the sights. We will be there for the entire event, so please sto p by the NASA tent and introduce yourselves. I am not sure what we will hav e on hand, but we'll have some goodies you can take home I'm sure.=C2-

Andy, you may also consider Jay Anderson who had made "Cloud Cars" propelle rs for various pietenpol/engine combinations. I have one of his Cloud Cars props. on my plane, (unflown) and I know there are others here whom have th em.=C2- Expensive, but you have the opourtunity to discuss wood(s) type, length, pitch, finished, unfinished, etc. cloudcars@verizon.net

Thanks Douwe, Any info is welcome and I look forward to seeing what the measurements of your prop are. BTW, yours is the prettiest homebuilt I've ever seen. Great instincts. -------- Andy Garrett 'General Purpose Creative Dude' Haysville, Kansas Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=443953#443953

Mike, it is my understanding that Jay went out of business. Not making props anymore. Anyone else know anything about this? Jay made me a prop a year ago. At that time he said he wasn't making props a nymore "just for guys he knows and those building Pietenpols". At that time h e had still a few blanks. I'd try him before writing off the option. They're beautiful props. (Haven't finished my airplane yet so I can't comment about performance). Scott Knowlton.
