Hey Andy,
Just got the prop down from the wall I had made by Culver Props for an
0-200. It is a 74/36. I think in my research of piets (or other draggy
airframed planes) flying with 0-200s, 74 was the largest diameter I came
across.
Like I wrote before, there's only a couple of piets I could find flying with
0200s here, and a few more in the UK, so it was a bit hard to come up with
firm evidence.
If I remember correctly, during my talks with Gene at Culver, we went with
the 74 and he said he'd shorten it if it wouldn't turn up where we needed it
to, but he thought this would work well. I'd say these numbers are pretty
close, he's a smart cookie when it comes to props. Builds a lot for WWI
reproductions and quite a few piets over the decades.
