Subject: | Hydraulic Brake Calipers |
Last week at OSH, I stopped at the Grove Brake booth, and took a look at their
line up. Nice stuff, but maybe overkill for a Piet.
In the past, I've seen several Piets with Go-Kart calipers, but before I purchase
anything, I'd like to query anyone having specific experience with them, preferably
on a flying plane.
Are they:
Easy to install?
Are they durable, or do they have problems?
Provide correct braking force? (This is related to brake holding torque)
Reasonable Cost?
Tell all of us your experience with your Disc Brakes, Calipers, etc., and PLEASE
don't hold back a thing.
Thanks!
