Steve,
Congratulations on getting the instrument ticket. I am a firm believer that each
rating achieved makes you a better overall pilot. Your understanding of the
airspace system, approach criteria, weather, all of that makes you a better VFR
pilot. Now that you have it, use it. Go fly IFR, and keep your skills up. Don't
lose that scan.
Again, congratulations. That is a huge achievement.
