Hi Kenny, Thanks for getting back to me, I appreciate it. It's good to see your Piet in the air, she looks great and the Willys engine looks the part as well. As for me, I'm currently based in Japan and work as a glider repairer/maintainer (just a mechanic!). When I was a kid, I wanted to become a duster pilot but life took me in a different direction, anyway, take care doing what you do! Thanks Cheers Mark Stanley -------------------------------------------------- From: "aviken" <aviken@hughes.net> Sent: Tuesday, October 18, 2016 8:58 PM Subject: Pietenpol-List: Jeep powered pietenpol > > Cant seem to add to a post so I have to start a fresh one . > For the guy who wanted to know who I am . > My name is Kenny Crider I am a Crop Duster pilot from Arkansas > > > Read this topic online here: > > http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=461414#461414 > > > Attachments: > > http://forums.matronics.com//files/14753780_10210448318908775_4356707531391889559_o_1_183.jpg > > >

Kenny, Perhaps you could put the simply Willys Overland Logo on [image: Inline image 1] -- Us Jeepnuts would know. I owned a 1948 Willys Pickup. 4 cylinder engine. 3 speed with transfer. Top speed was 39 MPH. Top speed in first gear, low transfer was 1 MPH maybe. All torque. It would pull a building, But really slow. Sold it after a tornado put our chicken house on top of it. I wish I had not. Later I owned a 1969 Jeepster Commando. We shoehorned a 350 Buick into it. It would past most everything except a gas station. 10-12MPH and a 12 Gallon Gas tank. Wish I still had it. I crave getting a flat fender jeep. Military style. But they have gone out of sight in cost. Blue Skies, Steve D

I owned 1950 and 52 Willy's pick-ups. The 50 was rust bucket but had factory PTO driven winch. In 1st gear, low range, winch pulled at same speed. Would love to have a restored one. If you don't have someone to make this for you, I could make it in paint mask or decal.
