Subject: | Magneto connection |
I am working on the ignition harness of my Conti C80-8F. From the manuals, left
mag is connected to bottom plugs, right mag to top plugs.
A friend gave me a set. From the markings on rear covers and wires, I figured out
that 2 and 4 from left mag are connected to top, and 1 and 3 are connected
to bottom plugs. Likewise, 2 and 4 from the right mag are connected to bottom
and 1 and 3 are connected to top plugs. Now, is this common or correct? Should
I disregard what I hava and stick to the manual's left to bottom, right to top?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

bottom as that is the impulse mag. It could be different if you have dual
impulse slick mags.=C2-

n and which is right hand rotation.=C2-
