I am working on the ignition harness of my Conti C80-8F. From the manuals, left mag is connected to bottom plugs, right mag to top plugs. A friend gave me a set. From the markings on rear covers and wires, I figured out that 2 and 4 from left mag are connected to top, and 1 and 3 are connected to bottom plugs. Likewise, 2 and 4 from the right mag are connected to bottom and 1 and 3 are connected to top plugs. Now, is this common or correct? Should I disregard what I hava and stick to the manual's left to bottom, right to top? Thanks in advance for any advice. blockquote, div.yahoo_quoted { margin-left: 0 !important; border-left:1px #715FFA solid !important; padding-left:1ex !important; background-color:whi te !important; } C-80 or is it an A-80-8F. The A series run the left to the bottom as that is the impulse mag. It could be different if you have dual impulse slick mags.=C2- Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPhone On Saturday, March 25, 2017, 12:50 PM, oldbird <semihoksay@gmail.com> wrote : I am working on the ignition harness of my Conti C80-8F. I forget which one is left hand rotatio n and which is right hand rotation.=C2- Shad Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPhone On Saturday, March 25, 2017, 6:30 PM, Jack Textor <jack@textors.com> wrote: Semih wish I could help, maybe somebody will chime in.
