cdlwingnut- thanks for continuing to post progress photos. It's great fun to watch
another airplane come together! Just be aware that we're all sitting here
in our chairs watching what you're doing and it's a natural tendency to make
comments from the peanut gallery. My comment just looking at the glue joints
on your spar is that you shouldn't be too sparing with the epoxy. Use enough
to completely fill the gap plus a little squeeze-out all around. You can always
sand off or scrape off the squeeze-out if it's going to interfere with the
next part of your assembly, but leaving part of the gap unfilled can create a
stress riser at that location, and under stress the joint will want to separate
      at that point.

Anyway, you're proving the old adage that "those who say it can't be done should
get out of the way of those who are doing it." Carry on ;o)

Thank you taildrag. One of the reasons for posting is so if someone sees somethkng
they can say so. I did go back and fill those gaps and there will also be
a sheet of plywood going over the whole spar so another chance to fill them too.
