John,
I have 2 model A engines running currently with a 3rd on the bench. One is in
a '29 Model A, one is a stationary genset, the third id a spare. So far no leaks
on my rear mains with original style seals. The only new seal I've tried is
for the water pump shaft, and I went back to lead packing.
