      I would be interested to know what the uncovered, finished wing weighs.  Pick it
      up and stand on your bathroom scales, then get on the scales and subtract your
      weight without the wing.

      Looking good!  Are you going to try to make it a legal ultralight or 
      register it as a certificated aircraft?  Once I get started on mine, 
      I=99m planning on registering it as a certificated LSA, in part 
      because my life insurance has a specific exclusion for dying in an 
      Ultralight accident, Lol.

      taildrag that is a good idea I will give that a try, I am guessing somewhere in
      the 15 to 20 pound range but i may be wrong
      
      Kip mine ia alreasy registered being mostly Douglas Fir and with a rotax 503 it
      wont make the ultra-light weight limits
