Speaking of airfoils - I knew of a guy that enlarged the plans he had for the ribs
instead of laying it out. During the process the photo was skewed and the
rib shape was altered between the front spar and the leading edge causing a slight
under camber. The airplane would not give any warning but set up a very high
sink rate. You would have to hold a little power and extra speed to three
point it.
A lot of Piet pilots would drop it in from 3' to 6'. Make sure your ribs are laid
out correctly.
