That's an idea of course, but I can buy the converter new for $185.00 and I doubt I will get what the radio is worth, it's a MK-12D, on ebay ... the reason I posted is because these converters are around, it's easy to find the 28's to 12's - more difficult to find the 12's to 28's thanks for the idea though ... You can contact Narco and see what they would charge to convert it internally. They made both 14 and 28V versions. Prior to the UPSAT SL30, it was the best navcom on the market.
